Gambian girl launches a book
A young Gambian girl, Awa Badara Joof, who is currently studying political science at the University of The Gambia on Saturday, 8th June 2019, launched her first book entitled Flow.
The book launch was well attended with many dignitaries gracing the occasion. In his review of the book, Mr Ebrima G Sankareh, Spokesperson of the Government of The Gambia said that everyone should read the book with attention, particularly the young.
Other speakers at the program included the heads of Sino school, SBEC International school, the Minister of Women, Children and Social Welfare and a host of others.
In attendance were Mr Ebrima Sillah, Minister of Information and Communications Infrastructure, Mr Ebrima Mballow, Minister of the Interior, and Mr Badara Joof, minister of Higher Education who happens to be the father of the author.
