Elegance is a pro-Africa international entertainment magazine published quarterly in London and sold in various African countries, including The Gambia, Nigeria, Senegal, Guinea and Ghana as well as in Europe, US and Canada.
Yes Africa, as a continent has its challenges and shortcomings. But this is a beautiful, amazing continent characterized by our rich cultures and traditions, hope, big smiles, warm hospitality and determination of the people to succeed. Elegance is here to showcase and celebrate the achievements and successes in Africa and of Africans. Our continent is always portrayed in the negative light especially in the western media. Therefore, Elegance’s mission is to counter this negative publicity by highlighting the numerous success stories of Africans in their expertise and careers.
Splendidly launched in Birmingham and London in November 2010 and in The Gambia in May 2011, Elegance Magazine has successfully established its own unique take on Gambian Magazine publication scene as the real thing.
Over the past six years, Elegance has been taking the lead in the Gambia’s showbiz industry. We cover some of the country’s most inspiring and informative stories on entertainment, fashion and lifestyle.
Outside the Gambia, Elegance continues to make its mark in such countries as Nigeria and Senegal. From our exclusive interviews with some of the most influential statesmen in Nigeria to the one with Senegal’s First Lady, we celebrate success stories of the people of these two amazing countries.

Since its maiden edition of 3,000 copies , Elegance Magazine has been growing by leaps and bounds with between 5,000 and 10,000 copies printed and distributed to reach its targeted readership and communities both within and outside The Gambia. Today, we can also be found in Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Europe and USA.

The entire strength behind Elegance Magazine is also continually focused on marketing the product and how to get the magazine into the hands of as many of the targeted audience as is practically and physically possible.
Through promotional campaign which includes TV, radio and newspaper adverts, hand bills, and flyer/poster distributions, Elegance Magazine has also been using innovative ways of introducing the magazine to a targeted clientele over the years.
