Miss Rohey Malick Lowe, mayor of Banjul on Monday presided over the official graduation ceremony of forty-five young Banjulians who were trained on municipal security duties.

The Lord Mayor of Banjul started her week on Monday by officially meeting the 45 newly recruited Banjul City Council Police at the (BCC) premises.

Miss Lowe emphasised the importance of security for the city, further encouraging the recruits to take their work seriously. She urged them to render professional security services to the general public whenever the need arises.

“The Council will give you all the necessary support and we have confidence in you all,” she concluded.
