New bank notes to be released
The Central Bank of The Gambia is set to release new bank notes soon. According to the Facebook page of the bank, these notes are: five dalasi, ten dalasi, twenty, dalasi, fifty dalasi, one hundred dalasi and a two hundred dalasi note.
These notes do not have the pictures of any individual.
“New bank notes to be issued soon. This however will be preceded by public education for sometime so that people will become aware of the security features of the new notes.’
