“Lady Chilel Sarr is currently in London as the Guest of Honour at the Accolade Africa Eagle Awards, where she was honoured with the Africa Excellence in Media and Publication Award. The prestigious recognition celebrates her outstanding contributions to media and publishing, particularly her dedication to promoting African stories and narratives that reflect the continent’s achievements and resilience in a positive light.
During the visit, Lady Chilel expressed her appreciation to Dr. Bensouda for her exemplary leadership and service, commending her as a role model for women across Africa.
She also discussed opportunities for future collaboration, including featuring the High Commissioner in upcoming editions of Elegance Magazine, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of African women leaders.
In her remarks, Dr. Bensouda congratulated Lady Chilel on her well-deserved award and lauded her efforts in using media as a platform to amplify Africa’s success stories.
